SCHEDULE:

Departure/Oct12: Friday. Leisurely wind up  work to board the 19037 Awadh Express at 2230 from Bandra Terminus [BDTS].

Day 1/Oct 13: Saturday. We reach Baroda [BRC] by dawn and check in to our accommodation. After freshening up and breakfast, we head out to soak in the architectural splendour of Champaner. We return by evening to visit the Nava Bazaar area for shopping and street food. Post dinner we head out for the highlight of our trip - a night of Garba.

Day 2/Oct 14: Sunday. Have a relaxed start to the day. Post an easy breakfast, head to Laxmi Vilas palace and the Baroda Museum. You'll be hungry enough by now to wolf down the yummy food being served at Gordhan Thaal. If time permits we will head out to Khambat for a gorgeous sunset. Head back to Baroda, finish dinner & take the 19038 Awadh Express at 2045. Arrive at Mumbai by 0500 with memories of an epic weekend.
